New 2012 Good Company Index grades released

avatar

Just in time for Labor Day weekend, the authors of Good Company have released the brand new 2012 Good Company Index™ grades.  This year, we’ve expanded our rankings to 300 of America’s largest companies.

There’s a new company at the top: Time Warner Corp., with a grade of A-.  Last year’s top-ranked company, Disney, slid significantly, due in part to new, higher standards in the area of stewardship.

Read all the details in our just-released report.

Full details on grades for all 300 companies are included on the Ratings section of our website.

All next week, we’ll be pulling some key excerpts from the report and posting them in our blog.

In the meantime, feel free to let us know what you think through the comments section below!

Hi Laurie et al. Do you think companies are moving beyond lip service to the idea of ethical or worthy behavior?

Yes, the smart ones definitely are. (To be sure, not all companies fit into that category – unfortunately!)
